The community involvement is exceptional but it is another case of nature being pushed back -the paths are so numerous that there is little room for nature. Unfortunately, the attraction for people is what is problematic for nature. There was an empty can of "Off" floating in the creek - how disgusting and selfish of the person! There are natural ways to repel mosquitoes - anyone who could do this is too cold and bloodless to attract mosquitoes in the first place. There is an interesting event coming up that is worth watching for - an Eco-fest, in celebration of nature, an opportunity to learn more and maybe find out about those alternates to pest control .....
