  Many flavours of Kawartha dairy ice cream to choose from. Long line up on a Saturday afternoon but the great staff keep it moving quickly.

  For twenty years my wife and I took the 416 and 401 on the way to visit her parents in Richmond Hill. One Friday evening traffic reports showed a closure on the 401 so we decided to take highway 7 the 115 and then the 407. A quieter and saner drive. My wife had "heard of" the Enniskellen General Store and so we stopped. To say that the portions are generous is an understatement. The selection and quality is excellent and the staff are always friendly, no matter how busy they are. Kawartha Diary is Canadian owned and operated. The attention to quality is evident. This is not a chemical concoction from a multinational. It is locally produced using local milk. No whatever gum and seaweed in the mix.
